Job Title: Trade Marketing (Contract - Maternity Cover)
Location: Singapore
Function: Sales & Marketing

About the Role:
We are seeking an interim Assistant Trade Marketing Manager to provide operational continuity for our Trade Marketing function across all channels in Singapore during a maternity leave period. This role will ensure smooth execution of trade plans, activation excellence, and close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Insights & Review
• Analyze category performance, distribution gaps, and channel opportunities using sales and retail audit data.
• Prepare monthly summaries highlighting key performance indicators and competitor activities.
• Assist in business review preparation and data consolidation for customers and distributors.
• Channel & Shopper Activation
• Execute trade marketing calendar and in-trade activities aligned with brand and channel priorities.
• Coordinate promotions, product launches, and activations, including e-commerce programs and trade collaborations.
• Work with distributors and agencies to ensure timely execution and visibility of campaigns.
• Support development of POP materials, trade premiums, and display guidelines.
• In-Trade Execution Excellence
• Ensure trade activities, displays, and visibility standards are implemented effectively across retail and food service channels.
• Coordinate ground activations, cooking demos, and sampling events with agency partners.
• Monitor campaign compliance and competitor activities, providing updates to relevant teams.
• Reporting & Administration
• Track and report promotion spending, trade display investments, and post-activity evaluations.
• Maintain promotional pricing and trade spend records.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably with 2 years in Sales or a similar role in FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using AC Nielsen or similar sales data.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas as required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; familiarity with Zoom/Teams.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Photoshop is an advantage.
