Responsibilities
- Responsible for a portfolio of client, prospect, and influential relationships across the many high growth tech industry sectors.
- Highly skilled at building and growing relationships with Founders, CEO's, CFO's, and other key influencers, as well as, developing and driving new business opportunities in the market.
- Strong understanding of the capital structureofventure backed technology companies.Highly skilled negotiator and financial engineer.
- Leads a highly effective team of Relationship Managers.
- Maintains overall general management responsibility of their respective client portfolio.
- Armed with venture capital, private equity or senior debt expertise across technology Startups in software enterprises, e-commerce, fintech, and platforms.
- An individual in this role, among other things, sources new deals, delivers written and oral analyses of investment opportunities, negotiates and structures investments, participates in the due diligence process, oversees a team during the preparation of diligence materials and financial models, while closely tracking industry trends
Requirements
- Must demonstrate a high-level of achievement in regard to deal origination, deal closes, realized investments, and maintaining as well as cultivating a robust network of contacts.
- Minimum of 10 years of prior work experience (with a Technology industry focus), with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity and prior experience working in venture capital, private equity or leveraged finance.
- Extensive contacts in the private equity, venture capital and/or financial intermediaries’ communities.
- Strong analytical capabilities, financial modelling proficiency, excellent written and oral communication skills, a willingness to be proactive in contacting people and learning about new developments.
