The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Strategic Procurement & Projects Manager to drive regional sourcing and major infrastructure, capex, and automation projects for Shopee’s logistics business. This role supports development of procurement strategy, oversees cross-market execution, and supports local teams to deliver high-impact investments.
Strategic Procurement
- Support the development of regional procurement strategies across infrastructure, capex, logistics facilities, automation, and other large expenditure categories.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to support category strategy and cost optimisation
- Support tender processes, vendor evaluations, and negotiations for strategic procurement initiatives, ensuring consistent standards across markets
- Build strong supplier relationships, including direct coordination with key vendors
Project Management and Vendor Management
- Manage planning and execution of infrastructure, capex, and automation projects across markets
- Track project progress, identify risks, and support mitigation plans
- Support project documentation, approvals, and governance processes
- Oversee vendor performance throughout project delivery and ensure timely resolution of issues
Regional Collaboration and Reporting
- Work with regional and local stakeholders including finance, legal, engineering, and operations
- Consolidate market updates and report project and procurement performance to senior leadership
- Ensure strong communication between HQ and local teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- At least 2 years of procurement, supply chain, or project management experience within logistics, infrastructure, or e-commerce
- Successful candidates should demonstrate strong learning ability and a high level of commitment to excellence
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Asia to support local teams
