Functional Relationships with:
Sales Account Officers, Product Marketing, Marketing and Communication, Strategic Planning members in ASEAN and India, Global Business Development and Application teams for technical and market interfaces
POSITION PROFILE:
Based in: Singapore
Job Site: Yishun
The successful candidate will: explore with primary but not limited focus, the development and execution of regional application strategies and business growth by combining engineering knowledge with market and application perspectives. This role focuses on application‑level and system‑level understanding, application promotion and necessary technical engagement; also act as a bridge, working closely with Product and Sales teams from market and application perspectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop application and system‑level understanding across target markets and translate customer requirements into structured application insights and future roadmaps.
- Support architecture‑level analysis and ecosystem understanding rather than focusing on component‑level design.
- Drive application promotion initiatives, including bundle promotion and portfolio positioning.
- Develop application‑oriented materials and support Sales with clear application‑level technical narratives and value propositions.
- Collect and analyse Voice of Customer (VOC) through technical discussions, working closely with Product & Sales teams.
- Contribute VOC outputs to Needs Roadmap (NRM) and Product Roadmap alignment with internal key stakeholders.
- Participate in market analysis, roadmap creation, and ecosystem mapping from the application perspective.
- Identify opportunity gaps and support application‑level opportunity analysis and project tracking at application level.
- Collaborate across regions and functions to support product/application training initiatives., application strategy development and execution.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
- 2-3 years in application/technical marketing is preferred, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong system‑level thinking and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Good collaboration and influencing skills to facilitate discussions between internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse technical and market information and translate them into clear application insight.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI) is an advantage.
- Semiconductor or electronics industry background is highly preferred.
