Position Description (Summary):
The Assistant Store and Logistic Manager is responsible to support the Planning & Logistic Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store & logistics. The role involves ensuring efficient store operations, managing inventory, providing excellent customer service in delivery on time and assisting in staff supervision and training.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day store operations in Receiving, Issuing & Delivering.
- Oversee and maintain proper inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities.
- Ensure a high level of customer service in:
1) On time delivery
2) Address customer complaints pertaining to logistic/store and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and analyze store performance metrics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes, increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Monthly Cycle count
1) Perform monthly cycle count
2) Perform monthly consignment count
- Equipment Maintenance and Control
1) Ensure all Store’s equipment is maintained in safety and working condition.
2) Regular check that all equipment is calibrated.
- Monitor and control costs related to transportation, storage and handling of materials to optimize operational budgets.
- Observe and comply with the Company’s safety and health system, safe work procedures and instructions, as well as safety policy and rules.
- Staff Development and Training
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
- Team with Store members to meet Department ‘ KPIs.
1) Delivery on Time

Job Specification:

Educational Qualifications: Minimum diploma or equivalent related field.

Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or store/logistic environment.
- Knowledge Required:
1) Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
2) Strong understanding of store operations and material handling techniques.
3) Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management system, working knowledge in SAP is preferable.
- Skills Required:
1) Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
2) Able to communicate and lead a team of store personnel to meet department goals.
