Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, commercially minded and hands-on Social Media Assistant Manager / Manager to lead and execute the brand’s social media presence across key digital platforms. This role will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving engagement, supporting traffic/conversion objectives, and ensuring content aligns with the overall brand direction. The ideal candidate understands both content storytelling + performance mindset and can work effectively in a lean, fast-moving environment.
This is an individual contributor role to begin with, requiring a proactive and hands-on individual who is comfortable balancing strategy, execution, creator relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1) Social Media Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute the brand’s social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals
• Own monthly social media calendar across key campaigns, launches and seasonal moments
• Identify content opportunities across organic, trend-led and always-on communication
• Ensure platform-specific strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn (where relevant)
• Recommend improvements based on platform shifts, consumer behavior and competitor movements
2) Content Creation & Execution
• Lead end-to-end social content planning including reels, short-form videos, static assets, UGC, BTS and campaign storytelling
• Brief internal creative/design teams on content requirements
• Support simple in-house content creation including quick edits, reactive content and trend-led assets
• Ensure brand consistency across copy, visual tone and storytelling
• Optimize content mix for awareness, engagement and conversion
3) Community Management, Influencer Marketing & Brand Advocacy
• Manage day-to-day community engagement including comments, DMs, customer conversations
and social interactions while maintaining brand tone of voice
• Identify, research and build a pipeline of relevant content creators, influencers, KOLs and brand advocates aligned with the brand’s positioning and audience
• Manage end-to-end creator outreach, seeding, gifting, relationship management and partnership coordination
• Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, agencies and external partners to support ongoing collaborations
• Support influencer-led campaigns across product launches, seasonal collections and brand storytelling moments
• Coordinate seeding calendars, product movement and collaboration timelines with internal teams
• Identify UGC, advocacy opportunities and community-led content that can strengthen social presence and brand trust
• Evaluate creator fit based on audience quality, content relevance and brand alignment, not just follower count
• Track creator and partnership performance including engagement, reach, quality and overall contribution
4) Social Growth, Events & Activations
• Support social-led traffic, engagement, awareness and brand affinity growth
• Coordinate brand events, store activations, launch events and experiential opportunities involving influencers, creators and community partners
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, social activations and community-led brand experiences
• Work closely with Marketing, Retail, Public Relation, E-commerce and Creative teams to ensure campaigns and activations are aligned
• Support seasonal campaigns, collaborations and major brand initiatives through social-first storytelling
5) Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, saves, CTR, traffic and conversion contribution
• Analyze best-performing content formats, creator performance and audience behavior
• Share monthly reports, insights and optimization recommendations
• Monitor competitor and category trends regularly
• Use data to refine content, creator strategy and campaign direction
Requirements
- 4–5+ years experience in Social Media / Digital Content / Brand Marketing
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, retail, e-commerce or consumer-led brands preferred
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Meta ecosystem and evolving social trends
- Comfortable balancing strategy + execution (not just planning)
- Good eye for aesthetics, storytelling and social-first content
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite or basic editing tools
- Experience with scheduling/reporting tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Hootsuite etc.)
- Analytical mindset with understanding of engagement, traffic and performance metrics
- Experience in influencer outreach, seeding and creator relationship management is a strong advantage
- Comfortable coordinating campaigns, activations and external relationships
- Highly organized and comfortable working in lean, fast-paced environments
- Self-starter with a proactive and hands-on approach
