Overview



Seeking a highly commercial and people-focused Senior Manager, Merchandising- Southeast Asia who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys leading and developing high-performing teams.


This role is responsible for leading the SEA Wholesale (Mono-Brand and Multi-Brand) merchandising strategy and in-season assortment execution, ensuring product offerings meet the needs of local customers and consumers while supporting Crocs' brand and commercial objectives. Through close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, the incumbent will drive assortment decisions, translate market insights into action, and optimize business performance across channels.


As a key member of the SEA Merchandising leadership team, this individual will serve as the voice of the market, influencing regional and country stakeholders, championing consumer-led decision-making, and fostering strong collaboration across Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Retail teams. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and people leadership capabilities with the agility to navigate a fast-changing retail environment.





What You'll Do



  • Lead and consolidate the seasonal country hindsight process, partnering with in-country DTC Merchandising teams to generate actionable insights and inform future assortment strategies.

  • Collaborate with Planning counterparts to develop sub-channel Merchandise Financial Plans (MFPs) aligned with country strategic priorities, identifying product-level risks and opportunities.

  • Develop seasonal assortment slot plans by country to achieve optimal SKU productivity and revenue targets, while identifying product gaps and new development opportunities for Regional teams.

  • Execute channel segmentation strategies by customer and consumer profile, ensuring assortments are tailored by door type and channel needs.

  • Recommend monthly newness flow strategies aligned with commercial calendars, consumer demand patterns, and prior-year sales peaks.

  • Build country-level store space plans by customer segment, leveraging floor space productivity and revenue analytics to define seasonal SKU requirements.

  • Align seasonal product calendars and go-to-market (GTM) plans with the Head of Country Merchandising, ensuring consistency with assortment strategies and Regional Marketing initiatives.

  • Partner with cross-channel Merchandising teams on pre-season MSRP recommendations and contribute to Regional pricing strategies, incorporating competitive pricing insights and consumer needs.

  • Participate in weekly and monthly business reviews to monitor demand trends, identify emerging opportunities, and adapt future assortments accordingly.

  • Conduct regular market and competitor visits to assess consumer trends, product performance, and market opportunities, providing timely recommendations to Regional teams.

  • Drive channel-exclusive product strategies, Special Make-Up (SMU) programs, and License/Collaboration assortments, ensuring alignment and synergy across Wholesale and DTC channels.

  • Gather and leverage sell-in insights from Wholesale and DTC Merchandising teams to strengthen assortment segmentation and product allocation decisions.

  • Analyze weekly and monthly sell-through performance, identifying trends and recommending actions to optimize product productivity.

  • Optimize store space-to-sales productivity to maximize revenue and profitability per square foot.

  • Evaluate and refine size curves and assortment depth by product category to improve inventory productivity and consumer satisfaction.

  • Review and align country promotional pricing frameworks, incorporating recommendations into quarterly GTM presentations to drive cross-functional alignment.

  • Represent the country perspective in Regional Product milestone meetings and contribute insights that enhance regional assortment and GTM strategies.




What You'll Bring to the Table



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related discipline.

  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams, influencing stakeholders, and leading through change.

  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive business results.

  • Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia retail, fashion, footwear, or lifestyle market and consumer trends.

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable merchandising decisions.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid product merchandising expertise with a keen eye for consumer needs, market trends, and assortment opportunities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience, preferably within fashion, footwear, lifestyle, or consumer goods.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region.
