JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead and manage the delivery of a broad range of sustainability projects (buildings, infrastructure, planning, and advisory), either as a technical specialist or as a project manager responsible for team coordination, project delivery, technical oversight, budget, and programme.
Undertake and review energy modelling, CFD simulations, carbon assessments, and other building physics related analyses.
Prepare calculations for green certification credit compliance (e.g., ACMV systems, lighting, Green Plot Ratio etc.).
Review reports, materials and equipment schedule/ specifications, and other project documents that may impact green certification outcomes and provide guidance to the design team before approval or procurement.
Develop specifications and tender requirements for targeted green certification levels.
Develop bespoke sustainability strategies, including net-zero energy and net-zero carbon pathways.
Attend project and client meetings regularly.
Coordinate and conduct workshops with multidisciplinary consultants, project owners, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for various project stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven track record in leading green certification projects (Green Mark Platinum/SLE or LEED Platinum will be an advantage).
Accredited professional in one or more sustainability rating systems (Green Mark, LEED, WELL, GBI, Living Future, etc.).
Strong analytical and interpretative skills in solar radiation analysis, CFD, thermal comfort, energy modelling, daylighting analysis, and whole-life carbon assessments.
Proficiency in simulation software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, One Click LCA, IESVE, DesignBuilder etc.
Strong interpretative skills to review design and construction documentation, including floor plans, engineering schematics, schedules, specifications, shop drawings, and operating sequences.
