Sales and Collections Monitoring for Retail and E-commerce Business
Monitor and resolve red lights for sales transactions in SAP system
Reconciliation of daily receivables and payment collections in SAP and Matchbox systems
Ensure refunds are made in accordance with the Company’s policies
Follow-up on tourist tax refund matters
Reporting & Monthly Activities
Reconciling and clearing general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Preparation of monthly schedules and reports to the respective stakeholders
Landlord reporting
Boutique Controlling Activities
Examine retail and e-commerce business transactions and ensure the Company’s policies and procedures are well respected
Present review observations and recommendations to the management
Stock Management
Coordinate and perform finance stock take
Monitoring of boutique stocks and ensuring they are properly accounted for based on the Company’s policies
Other Ad-hoc Activities
Conduct training and meetings to the retail teams and be the contact point for Maison regarding finance operational or compliance issues
Ensure boutique finance operations manual as well as local regulatory requirements and policies are always respected
Involvement in finance related projects and other financial-related tasks as required
Liaise with external stakeholders including but not limited to auditors, payment acquirers, local authorities as required
Identifying areas for efficiency improvements in finance operations process
Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally within luxury retail, FMCG and Beauty and Cosmetics Industry
Auditing experience is a must
Possess a recognized Degree in Accountancy and/or Professional Accounting Certification
Strong accounting skills and data analytical skills
