Job Summary:
The Key Account Sales & New Channel BD Executive will manage relationships with key accounts while identifying and developing new sales channels to drive business growth. The role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Key Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned key accounts.
Understand client business needs and provide tailored solutions to maximize sales opportunities.
Monitor account performance, analyze sales trends, and implement strategies to improve revenue.
Prepare and present business reviews, sales forecasts, and account plans.
Coordinate internally with operations, marketing, and customer support to ensure client satisfaction.
2. New Channel Business Development:
Identify and evaluate new sales channels, partnerships, and market opportunities.
Build relationships with potential distributors, retailers, and online platforms.
Develop business proposals, negotiate contracts, and onboard new channel partners.
Collaborate with marketing to launch channel-specific promotions and campaigns.
Track performance of new channels and provide actionable insights for improvement.
3. Sales Strategy & Reporting:
Achieve sales targets for key accounts and new channels.
Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market analysis.
Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to the management team.
Assist in developing pricing strategies, promotional plans, and product launches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development.
Proven track record in managing key accounts and developing new business channels.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and sales reporting tools.
