Description
Our client, a well-known retail company in Singapore, is seeking a Merchandising Executive/Officer to join their team.
Job Details:
Salary: $2,800 - $3,600 (depending on experience)
Working Days: 5-day work week
Working Location: AMK, with company transport available from several MRT stations
Job Responsibilities:
Source and manage new products, including category allocation and assortment planning.
Plan merchandise mix and pricing strategies to support sales and margin objectives.
Coordinate with suppliers on negotiations, promotions, and timely stock delivery.
Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, sell-through, and stock ageing to minimize overstock and markdown risk.
Develop strategies to improve sell-through and manage slow-moving items.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute product launches and promotional plans.
Conduct market research and store visits to stay aligned with market trends and merchandising standards.
Prepare sales and inventory analysis reports and provide feedback on supplier performance.
Support store promotions, events, campaigns, and merchandising administration as required.
