Merchandising Officer/Buyer (5days, Retail Industry/ B2C)

Our client, a well-known retail company in Singapore, is seeking a Merchandising Executive/Officer to join their team.

Job Details:

• Salary: $2,800 - $3,600 (depending on experience)

• Working Days: 5-day work week

• Working Location: AMK, with company transport available from several MRT stations

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and manage new products, including category allocation and assortment planning.

• Plan merchandise mix and pricing strategies to support sales and margin objectives.

• Coordinate with suppliers on negotiations, promotions, and timely stock delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, sell-through, and stock ageing to minimize overstock and markdown risk.

• Develop strategies to improve sell-through and manage slow-moving items.

• Collaborate with internal teams to execute product launches and promotional plans.

• Conduct market research and store visits to stay aligned with market trends and merchandising standards.

• Prepare sales and inventory analysis reports and provide feedback on supplier performance.

• Support store promotions, events, campaigns, and merchandising administration as required.
