Merchandiser (Luxury Retail | Fashion) DT

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Merchandiser with a strong interest in luxury fashion and lifestyle products. This role will support buying and merchandising operations across retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring smooth coordination of inventory, product allocation, and stock performance.

The ideal candidate should be confident working independently and comfortable liaising directly with the founder in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of buying plans following collection reviews with designers and brands

• Coordinate purchase orders, product quantities, pricing confirmations, and delivery timelines with suppliers

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and product availability across retail and online channels

• Analyse sales performance, sell-through rates, and stock ageing to support replenishment planning

• Ensure timely product delivery and allocation across retail stores and e-commerce platforms

• Work closely with operations, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth product launches

• Maintain accurate inventory records and product information across internal systems and marketplaces

• Assist with seasonal stock planning, promotional activities, and markdown execution

• Participate in discussions with designers and brands while supporting operational merchandising functions

Requirements

• Prior merchandising experience in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail preferred

• Candidates from consumables or FMCG-related categories (e.g. toiletries, department stores, premium retail) may also be considered

• Understanding of merchandising concepts such as season cycles, sell-through, OTB (Open-to-Buy), consignment, and styling

• Familiarity with e-commerce and marketplace platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Lazada, or similar

• Strong coordination, analytical, and organisational skills

• Passion for fashion, particularly luxury fashion and premium brands

• Mature, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
