Marketing Manager
Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing retail marketing initiatives across multiple channels to support business growth and brand objectives. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, hands-on execution capabilities, and the ability to adapt global brand strategies to local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Integrated Marketing
Manage and execute all retail marketing activities across online and offline channels, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Oversee marketing budgets and resource allocation to maximize ROI and drive sales performance.
Plan, implement, and evaluate localized marketing initiatives including advertising, public relations, events, customer seminars, direct marketing, digital campaigns, and marketing collateral.
Ensure all marketing programs resonate with local consumer insights while maintaining global brand standards.
Brand & Digital Leadership
Champion brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
Lead the development and execution of digital marketing content, providing clear direction and feedback to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and audience engagement.
Ensure consistent messaging across retail, digital, and communication platforms.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
Manage and collaborate with local marketing agencies to ensure timely, effective campaign execution.
Ensure marketing messages are clearly communicated and consistently delivered across all channels.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to support integrated marketing efforts.
Performance & Market Analysis
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and impact on sales.
Optimize strategies based on data insights and provide clear reporting on results.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with brand guidelines and corporate standards.
Safeguard the integrity and reputation of the brand across all platforms and activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, lifestyle, FMCG, or related industries.
Experience in the halal-based consumer space is required.
Strong background in marketing communications, internal communications, and public relations.
Established marketing partnerships and media networks locally and regionally.
Strong understanding of branding, corporate communications, advertising, and promotions.
Results-driven with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Willingness to travel between Malaysia and regional markets as required.
