Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Marketing Specialist with hands-on experience in the heavy machinery or B2B space with a flair and keen interest in event & experiential marketing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial products and the ability to craft and execute highly engaging marketing tactics that resonate with our target audiences — from B2B customers and partners to field operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Exhibitions and Event Management:
Plan and manage on-ground activations such as live demos, roadshows, trade shows, plant visits, and customer meetups. Ensure that visuals and physical elements are aligned with corporate guidelines and present the brand in a premium angle.Partner Network Events
Assist in co-organizing customer events and demo sessions together with the partner channel network, ensuring that the brand portrayal is consistent with PALFINGER guidelines.Vendor & Agency Coordination:
Coordinate with external vendors, media agencies, and fabrication teams for events, stall setups, and print production.Content & Collateral Development for events:
With the help of internal teams, conceptualize and develop collaterals related to the events and exhibitions.Digital Marketing:
Work with the digital marketing team to plan and strategize social media promotions and paid campaigns running up to field events and exhibitions.Merchandizing:
Work with vendors on creating regional and local merchandize, distribution and dissemination of merchandize within the APAC region.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s diploma or degree (preferred) in Marketing or Business Management.
3–6 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in heavy machinery, construction equipment, or in event management agencies, booth builders etc.
Demonstrated experience in managing agencies and service providers.
Demonstrated experience in field/event marketing.
Experience in other areas of marketing is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Additional knowledge of Asian languages is a plus. (Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese)
Ability to travel for events around Asia Pacific.
Proficiency in MS Office.
