Job Summary
Join our team as a Marketing & Commercial Executive and bridge the gap between customer engagement and logistics operations. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will support the full commercial lifecycle—from market research and quotations to operational coordination. This is an ideal role for a proactive communicator looking to build a career in the global container depot and shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Support & Sales Coordination
· Support the commercial team in preparing customer quotations, proposals, and analyze market outlook.
· Assist in tender submissions, contract renewals, and customer onboarding documentation.
· Maintain accurate records including customer interactions, sales pipelines, and follow-up actions.
· Conduct market and competitor research within the logistics and container depot sector to support strategic decision-making.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
· Serve as a coordination point for customer enquiries, service requests, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.
· Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand operational requirements and ensure service delivery aligns with expectations.
· Assist in organizing customer visits, audits, meetings, and engagement activities.
· Support post-engagement actions such as reports, minutes of meetings, and service improvement follow-ups.
Operational Support
· Coordinate with depot operations on matters related to container movement, repair status, estimates, and service delivery timelines.
· Monitor operational KPIs (turnaround time, estimate approval cycles, service performance) for internal reporting.
· Assist in reviewing container repair estimates, detention/demurrage charges, or related commercial documents when required.
· Support operations in resolving day-to-day service issues by facilitating communication between customers and the depot team.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
· Prepare presentation materials, meeting notes, customer summaries, and weekly activity updates for the Manager/General Manager.
· Assist in coordinating internal meetings, workflow alignment, and follow-ups across sales, operations, finance, and customer service.
· Maintain and update commercial documentation, SOPs, and internal records.
· Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and depot documentation standards.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
· Support the Manager/General Manager in special projects, business development initiatives, or operational improvement tasks.
· Undertake assignments related to cost analysis, customer segmentation, service performance reviews, or productivity improvement.
· Provide assistance for events, customer engagements, or corporate activities when required.
· Any other duties assigned by the Manager or General Manager based on business needs.
Job Requirements
· Min Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
· Proficient in MS Office; good organizational skills.
· Strong communication and customer service mindset.
· Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and work in a team.
· Proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible to handle ad-hoc tasks.

Annual Leave:
Starts at 14 days per year
Increases by 1 day annually, up to a maximum of 16 days
