We are a growing company in the luxury retail and e-commerce sector with a strong presence across Asia. As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist (sole contributor role) to support daily shipping operations and ensure timely and compliant international deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
International Shipping & Coordination
Coordinate international shipments by air and sea, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries
Liaise with freight forwarders, courier partners, customs agents, and internal teams on shipment status and delivery schedules
Track and monitor shipments proactively, resolving delays and operational issues where required
Support shipping arrangements for regional and global orders
Logistics & Carrier Management
Work closely with freight forwarders and courier providers to obtain competitive shipping rates and reliable service support
Maintain good working relationships with logistics partners and vendors
Assist in coordinating shipping schedules, booking arrangements, and delivery timelines
Monitor logistics performance and support cost optimisation initiatives
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and verify shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, and customs declarations
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and shipping requirements
Support proper handling and documentation of regulated or sensitive products where applicable
Coordinate with logistics partners and customs agents to facilitate smooth clearance processes
Packing the items according to DG standards
Requirements:
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping coordination, or supply chain operations
Must be able to carry heavy loads and pack items as this is a sole contributor role
Experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, cosmetics, or related industries will be an advantage
Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation
Knowledge of dangerous goods handling regulations is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipment tracking systems
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage due to coordination with regional partners and suppliers
Salary
SGD 4,000 – SGD 4,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
