The role is to lead the SocialHub team and scale commercial growth. The Lead, SocialHub is responsible for building, scaling and leading Mediacorp's social-first strategic function for the Commercial Group. This role sits at the intersection of content, creators, audience, social platforms and commercial solutioning, ensuring Mediacorp's IPs and 3rd party creators win on social and deliver measurable value to clients. The Lead, SocialHub will champion social-first thinking across the organisation, guide teams on what works in the social ecosystem, and translate insights into scalable formats, products and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate brings maverick thinking — someone with the conviction, presence and courage to challenge conventions, influence stakeholders and shape the future of social storytelling at scale.
Responsibilities
Social Content Strategy & Execution
Drive a social-first content approach for commercial solutioning, ensuring Mediacorp IPs are optimised for platform-native storytelling, trends and formats
Ensure content balances brand safety, creativity, cultural relevance and value for clients
Leadership & Team Development
Define and own Commercial Group's SocialHub strategy, vision and operating model in order to scale commercial growth
Build, lead and mentor a high-performing SocialHub team, including producers, strategists, creators and community managers
Set clear KPIs, performance benchmarks and development plans for the team
Champion best-in-class social practices across Mediacorp through training, playbooks and knowledge sharing
Commercial Solutioning & Client Advisory
Partner closely with the Commercial Group to develop social-led solutions for advertisers, including branded content, creator collaborations, IP extensions and integrated campaigns
Conceptualise, design and develop creator-led commercial solution in collaboration with TalentHub. Roles requires systematic assessment of the landscape, developing a commercially viable solution and lead the design and development of GTM
Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams and key clients on what works on social platforms
Required to apply in-depth knowledge to assess the landscape in establishing and maintaining the social ecosystem and staying at the forefront of social trends
Translate audience and platform insights into commercially viable products and inventories
Support pitches and presentations with strong social narratives, case studies and performance metrics
Champion experimentation, rapid testing and learning within the SocialHub
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Customer Group, TalentHub, Digital Solutioning, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver integrated social initiatives
Bridge Customer and Commercial Groups to ensure alignment between audience engagement goals and revenue objectives
Foster a collaborative culture that encourages risk-taking, speed and accountability
Data, Measurement & Reporting
Champion data-led decision making, ensuring social performance is clearly measured and reported
Define success metrics covering reach, engagement, brand impact and revenue contribution
Continuously optimise content and solutions based on insights and performance learnings
Qualifications
A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Media
At least 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in content marketing, creative-related work in the media space and 10 to 15 years total work experience
Proven track record in delivering results that is timely, relevant, and effective
Strong entrepreneurial skills

Proven track record in building and scaling social content strategies with strong audience and commercial outcomes
Deep understanding of major social platforms, trends, algorithms and creator ecosystems
Strong commercial acumen with experience in client solutioning, branded content or media monetisation
