IT Project Manager (E-commerce Platform)

• Position      : IT Project Manager (E-commerce Platform)

• Location      : Singapore

• Working hours    : Monday to Friday | 9am to 6pm    

• Salary (commensurate with experience)     : Up to $8,500 + Bonus +  Annual Leaves + Medical Leaves + Medical Claims

• Duration      : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of the e-commerce platform project from initiation to deployment and post-launch enhancements

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable delivery plans.

• Review and evaluate technical proposals / third-party solutions for feasibility, scalability, and fit to business needs.

• Drive delivery governance: manage timeline, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resources.

• Ensure adherence to internal governance, development standards, and reporting requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison with external vendors; challenge deliverables to ensure quality and technical alignment.

• Collaborate with in-house developers and UX designers to ensure features meet business objectives.

• Provide clear status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to management.

• Contribute to SOP / process standardisation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT (or related) with 5–8 years of experience in technical/product/project management within e-commerce, digital platforms, or software development.

• Proven track record managing platform, R&D, or digital product projects.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and platform integrations (eCommerce/ERP exposure is an advantage).

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum/hybrid delivery; PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certification preferred.

• Proven track record managing platform, R&D, or digital product projects.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients who can only converse in Mandarin.
