Job Description
Love crafting witty lines, diving into stories, and bringing ideas to life through words? As our Copywriting Intern, you’ll help shape the voice of GetGo across our blog, newsletters, and communication channels. You’ll be part of our energetic and dynamic Communications team — working closely with our Copywriter and getting real editorial experience that will sharpen your skills fast.
If you’re passionate about writing, eager to learn, and excited to grow in a vibrant team, this internship is the perfect place to level up your craft.
What You’ll Do (Your Daily Writing Adventures):
- Craft stories. Ideate, draft, and publish blog articles — at least one high-quality piece per week.
- Shape our newsletter voice. Help plan, coordinate, and write GetGo’s biweekly eNewsletter.
- Support copy across channels. Write for social media, in-app messages, blog posts, emails, and marketing campaigns.
- Do smart research. Conduct desktop and keyword research to find fresh ideas and optimise our content for organic search.
- Keep things running smoothly. Support the timely uploading, formatting, and publishing of articles according to our editorial calendar.
- Maintain brand vibes. Ensure our content stays consistent in style, tone, and presentation across all platforms, according to the established brand identity.
- Jump in when needed. Assist with ad-hoc content requests for the marketing team.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or similar fields
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English — plus a good ear for modern slang and relatable expressions
- Someone who enjoys keeping up with news, trends, and what's happening around the world
- Curious, collaborative, and loves bouncing ideas around
- Detail-oriented, punctual, self-driven, and independent
- Passionate about storytelling and excited to grow as a writer
- Able to commence in February 2026, preferably for a minimum of 6 months on a full time basis.
