Job Summary

AI&MI Pte Ltd is seeking a results-oriented General Operations Manager – Digital & E-commerce to lead and scale our end-to-end e-commerce and digital commerce operations. This role has full ownership of business performance across major online platforms and DTC channels, covering strategy, operations, partnerships, supply chain coordination, and cross-functional execution.


The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with strong experience managing platform relationships (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok), driving growth through data, and leading multi-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce & Digital Business Leadership

  • Own the overall performance of AI&MI’s e-commerce business, including revenue growth, profitability, margins, and operational efficiency.


  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans aligned with company objectives.


  • Manage and optimize multi-platform operations, including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and DTC websites.


  • Oversee both 1P (Retail) and 3PD (Marketplace) business models to maximize sales and customer experience.



2. Platform, Growth & Partnership Strategy

  • Define platform-specific growth strategies, including pricing, promotions, assortment planning, and campaign execution.


  • Build, manage, and deepen strategic relationships with e-commerce platforms, MCNs, creators, affiliates, and external agencies.


  • Lead negotiations on partnership terms, joint business plans, and platform initiatives.


  • Drive new growth opportunities such as live commerce, affiliates expansion, influencer/content commerce, and emerging channels.


  • Act as the primary Point of Contact with Headquarters and external agencies on all digital commerce matters (where applicable).



3. Cross-Functional & Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and scale teams across operations, content, customer service, and supply chain.


  • Establish clear KPIs, SOPs, and performance management frameworks.


  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Performance Marketing, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.


  • Ensure strong execution, follow-through, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders.



4. Supply Chain, Inventory & Fulfilment Oversight

  • Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, warehousing, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery.


  • Optimize supply chain costs, service levels, and operational processes to support growth.


  • Manage suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics partners to ensure reliability and scalability.



5. Data, Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor business KPIs closely, including GMV, conversion rate, ROI, margin, inventory turnover, and fulfilment SLAs.


  • Use data and analytics to identify issues, generate insights, and drive continuous improvement.


  • Prepare regular management reports, business reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.


  • Ensure store setup, campaigns, and platform operations are continuously optimized.



Requirements
Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.


  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or platform operations, with 2–3 years in a management or leadership role.


  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and related digital ecosystems.


  • Proven ability to manage platform partnerships and commercial negotiations.


  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and data-driven decision-making skills.


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
