General Manager / Sales Director - Modern Trade (Water distribution company)
Role Purpose: To lead the localized growth of the Singapore subsidiary and secure primary listings in major retail chains.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Singapore market P&L and long-term brand strategy.
Lead the core local team and build a high-performance organizational culture.
Channel Management: Focus on securing listings in Modern Trade (Supermarkets) and overseeing existing E-commerce/HORECA distributors.
Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements (SFA, ACRA, and the upcoming Beverage Container Return Scheme).
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years in FMCG, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the Singapore retail landscape.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; degrees in Business Administration or Marketing are preferred
Network: Strong existing relationships with Category Managers in major Singapore supermarkets and convenience stores.
