Expansion Planning & PMO (SPX Express)

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• Lead end-to-end planning of physical network expansion to support organizational growth targets for 2026 and beyond.


• Manage project execution for new facility openings, including timeline tracking, cross-functional coordination, and process optimization.


• Lead and manage 4PL partners, ensuring performance exceeds targets in terms of service quality, operational efficiency, and cost control.


• Develop and maintain monthly network expansion plans, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and cost efficiency.


• Monitor, analyze, and report performance against expansion and operational targets, with a strong focus on capacity planning and optimization.


• Drive special projects such as lead time analysis, space utilization studies, and capacity assessments, including ensuring on-time hub openings and timely replacement of facilities when required.


• Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize the existing network, improving efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.


• Support last-mile optimization initiatives by identifying capacity constraints and proposing actionable, data-backed improvement strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related fields.


• 2-5 years of experience in business development, project management, or management consulting.


• Proficient in English (written and verbal).


• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and related software.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.


• Expertise in project management and timeline tracking.
