Grocery Logistics of Singapore Pte Ltd (GLS) is a key logistics service provider to NTUC FairPrice’s brick and mortar as well as e-commerce business units. GLS is currently expanding into other business segments, hence looking for self-starter individual to join our Business Development Division.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing inbound warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and

compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

The role leads operational efforts to ensure smooth stock and location management, minimizes

losses from damaged goods, and maintains high standards of workplace health, safety, and

operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Compliance

• Toolbox Briefings: Conduct regular toolbox meetings and operational briefings tocommunicate priorities and safety guidelines.

• Standards Compliance: Ensure operational compliance with ISO and GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices and Medical Supplies) standards.

• Safety Management: Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WSH) regulations, report and investigate incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions, and actively instill safety measures.

• Staff Coaching & Discipline: Strengthen staff discipline through consistent monitoring, coaching, performance feedback, and corrective actions.

Inbound Operations

• Capacity Management: Oversee and coordinate receiving volume; alert upstream planners when scheduled receiving volume exceeds warehouse capacity.

• RSTO Putaway: Ensure prompt receiving and putaway of Return from Store (RSTO).

• Expiry Management: Ensure incoming goods are received with correct expiry date records maintained in the system.

• Quality Check: Conduct quality checks (QC) upon request.

• Item Master Maintenance: Register and maintain item master profiles and barcode compliance in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Dimension & Barcode Verification: Verify physical product descriptions, pack sizes, carton dimensions, weights, and pallet configurations against system data. Ensure carton barcodes meet Barcode Compliance Requirements.

• Documentation & Gate Pass: Raise Product Update Forms for minor product amendments and issue Gate Passes for items rejected or returned to suppliers.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business-related field (Degree preferred).

• At least 1–2 years of experience in managing warehousing and distribution cente operations.

• Hands-on operating experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse equipment.

• Working knowledge of ISO standards, GDPMDS regulations, WSH guidelines, and FEFO inventory procedures.

• Meticulous, results-oriented, strong leadership and planning skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
