About the Role
We're looking for an E-commerce Specialist to manage and grow our Shopify store. You'll work alongside our web build partner during launch, then take full ownership of day-to-day store operations, our Electronic Direct Marketing retention engine, reviews and supporting integrations, and the copy that runs across the site and emails. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes owning a project end-to-end and seeing it run.
You'll work closely with the founder and the wider marketing team, and your work will directly shape how the brand shows up to every customer.
What You'll Do Shopify Store Management
● Work with our web build partner during launch to ensure the store is set up correctly and brief-aligned.
● Upload and maintain the full SKU catalogue — products, variants, pricing, inventory, images.
● Own ongoing store updates, new product launches, app integrations, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
● Monitor site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall UX.
Email & Retention
● Build out the full lifecycle email system in Klaviyo.
● Plan and send manual campaigns for launches, seasonal moments, and promos.
● Report on flow-attributed revenue, recovery rates, open/click rates, and iterate on what's underperforming.
Branding & Site Experience
● Translate existing brand assets consistently across the storefront — typography, colour, imagery, voice.
● Help build out a working brand kit (logo usage, colour palette, type system, imagery guidelines) Copywriting
● Write the core site pages: Home, Product (PDPs), Collection, About, FAQ, Shipping & Returns, Contact
● Write product descriptions that sell — clear hooks, benefits, and reasons to act.
● Write email copy across all flows and campaigns.
● Maintain a consistent brand voice across every page and message. What We're Looking For
● 2–3 years of hands-on e-commerce experience, ideally with a D2C or consumer brand.
● Working Shopify experience — comfortable managing a live store, uploading products, and configuring apps.
● Strong email direct marketing experience (Klaviyo preferred)
● Genuine copywriting ability.
● A good design eye and comfort working with brand assets
● Organised, self-directed, and comfortable owning a project end-to-end.
● Bonus: experience with Meta/Google ad pixel setup, basic Liquid edits, or paid-media collaboration.
Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience and portfolio.
