E-Commerce Executive (Shopify)
The Company:
Gramercy Music is a legacy classical music instrument and repair shop. Traditionally, its sales channels were retail
and B2B sales to schools across Southeast Asia. Recently, they have invested some money into transitioning offline
sales towards online B2C ecommerce. We need someone to:
1. Handle the online shop (on Shopify), working with in-house operations team to ensure fulfillment is smooth.
2. Plan routine promotions and campaigns, working/sourcing for KOLs and community engagements to drive traffic
to the ecommerce store
3. Work with our ecommerce agency to improve on the website
This person can work remotely for the most part, but will be required to go into the office at least 2 days a week to
liaise with the operations & logistics team.
You will be responsible for :
The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and growth through our Shopify website. This role
will focus on day-to-day operations, strategic project management, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in managing Shopify stores, optimizing for conversions, and
executing strategies that elevate online sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the Shopify store, ensuring it runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic project management, including optimizing the user experience and
increasing conversion rates.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators to track the success of online sales, ensuring
continuous growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing, design and development teams to initiate and execute strategies for
product launches, promotions, and online campaigns.
• Work closely with ecommerce specialists, design and development teams to ensure the website is
consistently updated and optimized for both user experience and SEO.
Ideal Candidate
• 3-5 years of proven experience in managing and growing Shopify stores
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce operations, including product listings, inventory management, and
customer service.
• Expertise in Shopify and Shopify apps, with a deep understanding of platform capabilities and limitations.
• Good to have knowledge of Shopify report and analytical tool Google Analytics, Ad-words to track and
optimize website performance.
• Good to have experience with website optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
