Job Summary
The E‑Commerce Associate supports the day‑to‑day operations of online sales channels, ensuring smooth product listing management, order fulfillment coordination, customer experience, and performance reporting. This role works closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to drive revenue, optimize online visibility, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Content Management
- Upload and update product listings across e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, Amazon).
- Ensure product titles, descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications are accurate and optimized.
- Coordinate with design/marketing teams for product photography and content updates.
- Manage product catalog, collections, and online inventory accuracy.
2. Order & Operations Coordination
- Monitor daily orders and coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely fulfillment.
- Ensure stock levels are accurate and work with supply chain teams on replenishment.
- Track delivery issues and work closely with couriers to resolve delays or failed deliveries.
3. Customer Service & Experience
- Handle customer inquiries across e‑commerce platforms and social media channels.
- Manage returns, refunds, and after‑sales support in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and response time.
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Monitor daily/weekly sales performance and prepare KPI reports.
- Analyze product performance, conversion rates, pricing, and customer behavior.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales and optimise listings.
5. Platform Campaigns & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing platform campaigns (flash sales, mega sales, vouchers).
- Coordinate with marketing teams on promotions, ads, and content schedules.
- Manage platform backend tools (campaign submissions, promo setup, seller tools).
6. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve e‑commerce processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated with e‑commerce trends, platform policies, and competitor activities.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E‑Commerce, Communications, or related fields.
- Experience in e‑commerce operations, digital marketing, or online retail is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Familiar with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopee, Lazada, Amazon).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing (SEO, Facebook/Google Ads) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
