Delivery Driver

Job Overview

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of company products to B2B clients (hawkers, restaurants, hotels, cafés), supermarkets, and online e-commerce customers.

This role also supports basic logistics, stock handling, and delivery documentation to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. B2B Deliveries (Hawkers, Restaurants, Hotels, Cafés)

• Deliver frozen and chilled products to hawker stalls, restaurants, hotels, catering kitchens, and food operators

• Follow delivery schedules and client-specific delivery instructions

• Ensure products are delivered in good condition and correct quantities

• Obtain delivery acknowledgment (signature / photo / system update)

• Communicate professionally with business owners, kitchen staff, and receiving personnel

• Escalate any delivery issues, shortages, or damages immediately to the Operations / Admin team

2. Supermarket & Retail Deliveries

• Deliver products to supermarkets, minimarts, and retail outlets

• Follow supermarket procedures, including:

  • Delivery timing windows

  • Loading bay rules

  • Temperature control requirements

• Assist with unloading to designated freezer or storage areas when required

• Ensure correct SKU, quantity, and carton condition before handover

• Coordinate with merchandisers or store staff when needed

3. Online & E-commerce Deliveries

• Deliver orders from Shopee, TikTok Shop, website, and other online platforms

• Ensure correct order matching based on delivery list

• Handle frozen and chilled items properly during transport

• Ensure punctual delivery to residential addresses

• Collect proof of delivery (photo / system confirmation)

• Report failed or rescheduled deliveries promptly

4. Vehicle & Delivery Equipment Management

• Ensure delivery vehicle is kept clean, safe, and in good working condition

• Monitor freezer / cooler boxes and ensure temperature compliance

• Report vehicle or equipment issues immediately

• Perform basic daily vehicle checks (fuel, cleanliness, freezer function)

5. Stock Handling & Warehouse Support

• Assist in loading and unloading of goods at warehouse

• Check products before loading to ensure correct items and quantities

• Support simple warehouse tasks when required (e.g. rearranging stock, moving cartons)

• Handle products carefully to avoid damage

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Follow daily delivery route plans and delivery schedules

• Submit completed delivery reports or photos after each route

• Report discrepancies such as:

  • Missing items

  • Damaged goods

  • Customer delivery issues

• Communicate clearly with Admin / Operations team

7. Compliance & Safety

• Follow company SOPs for food handling and delivery

• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained when handling food products

• Comply with traffic laws and company safety guidelines

• Maintain professionalism and company image at all times

Requirements

• Valid Singapore driving licence

• Experience in FMCG / food delivery is an advantage

• Familiar with Singapore routes, hawker centres, and supermarket locations

• Able to handle frozen and chilled products

• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
