Description
You will be:
The bridge between engineering and analytics, building scalable, high‑reliability data products – from data lakes and warehouses to real‑time pipelines – that drive data‑powered business decisions.
You are proficient in:
Data cleaning & transformation (SQL, pandas, R, etc.)
Building ETL/ELT pipelines (SSIS, AWS DMS, Glue, Lambda, Python, etc.)
Database design & various databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, AWS S3/Athena, etc.)
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) & big data environments
System design, data structures & algorithms
Data modeling, data lake, data virtualization, data warehouse
REST APIs, web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Node.js, etc.)
Data governance, access control & security best practices
Bonus (nice to have):
Experience integrating with search indexes
Airflow + RDBMS (e.g., MySQL) implementation experience
You will:
Design, deploy data tables, views, and marts in data warehouses, data lake, and data virtualization
Build and maintain batch & real‑time data pipelines at scale
Integrate data silos in a scalable and compliant way
Collaborate with PMs, architects, analysts, and frontend developers
Develop backend APIs & work with databases to support applications
Work in an Agile + CI/CD environment
Participate in pair programming and code reviews
We expect you to:
Be comfortable with at least one scripting language (SQL / Python)
Work on both Windows and Linux development environments
Be passionate about data engineering in a big data, cloud‑native world
