JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Support Campaign Execution and Coordination


  • Assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing campaigns and promotions.  This includes coordinating logistics, creating promotional materials and ensuring all aspects of the campaigns are executed successfully.

Promotion and Activations



  • Oversee and implement retailer specific promotional campaigns, this includes instore promotions, roadshow, sampling events etc.

  • Ensure all promotional banded packs are fully prepared and ready for sales. This includes managing forecasting, demand, tracking and reviews.


Inventory Management


  • Monitor inventory level of promotional materials and gimmicks.  Coordinate with suppliers and sales team to ensure that the promotional items are available and properly stocked at retailer locations.

Sales Analysis and Internal Reporting



  • Keep track and monitor the results of all trade marketing initiatives and assist to prepare reports and presentations that summarize the findings and ROI.

  • Prepare monthly updates and reports on trade marketing activities, including performance metrics and feedback from sales and marketing teams.

  • Track and analyse pricing architecture across channels, ensuring alignment with promotional strategies and competitive positioning.

  • Support data-driven decision-making by delivering insights on shopper behaviour trends, execution gaps, and competitive benchmarks.


Category Management


  • Assist in the implementing, managing, and evaluating category management projects.

Administrative Support



  • Provide general administrative support which may include maintaining of Customer Marketing Calendar and Activity Grid.

  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices.

  • Oversee end-to-end trade spend management and maintain comprehensive budget tracking to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and effective resource allocation.


BACKGROUND:



  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, or related commercial functions.

  • FMCG and trade promotion experience is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in NielsenIQ and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and work with data.

  • Highly organized, with strong time‑management skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to adopt modern tools and technologies.
