We're looking for a Category Merchandiser who can connect strategy with execution — blending creativity and analytics to shape product concepts that resonate with customers, while ensuring smooth operations through accurate forecasting and coordination.
Strategic Focus
Develop product and category strategies aligned with regional trends, competitor insights, and the specific needs of our customer base.
Define target customer profiles and guide product concepts to strengthen brand awareness and drive demand.
Collaborate with global product, design, development, production, and sales teams to make strategic decisions aligned with our business priorities.
Drive assortment planning and product lifecycle management to support both seasonal initiatives and long-term growth objectives.
Analyze market trends, product performance, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for category growth.
Facilitate product presentations during critical seasonal events, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Operational focus
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align on product and process needs.
Maintain and update forecast sheets to reflect monthly production availability.
Coordinate product sampling, validation, and assessment activities to support business decision-making.
Compile seasonal order consolidations and prepare purchase orders for manufacturing partners.
Create product codes for the Product Catalog.
Ensure clear logistics instructions are communicated to forwarders and relevant partners.
Ensure proper filing, sorting, and retrievability of both electronic and hard‑copy documents.
Support additional special tasks as needed to meet team and business requirements.
Requirement:
Strong analytical skills; able to turn data into strategy.
Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, visualization).
Confident in presenting ideas and leading discussions.
Strong analytical, forecasting, and planning capabilities.
Detail‑oriented, organized, with order processing/admin experience.
Independent, self‑motivated, and disciplined.
Experience in outdoor, hardgoods, consumer durable goods, lifestyle products will be an advantage.
