Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales, stock, and profit strategies; set monthly targets and track performance against budget.
Manage buying budgets, merchandise mix, inventory levels, and overall stock performance.
Forecast and analyse fashion, demand, and market trends to guide buying, pricing, and assortment decisions.
Plan and implement sourcing and procurement strategies, including supplier selection.
Negotiate with vendors on commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Plan merchandise purchases, delivery timelines, overseas buying trips, and oversee bulk deliveries.
Drive omnichannel performance by strengthening synergy between online and physical stores.
Manage day-to-day sales operations, departmental planning, and control operating and manpower costs.
Prepare and analyse sales, profit, stock, and budget reports to support decision-making.
Collaborate with Marketing on promotions and presentation standards, while maintaining strict confidentiality of company information.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Management, Business, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a buying or merchandising support role (mid-market fashion retail preferred).
Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.
