Description
Captain Cranberry Group is seeking a
Business Development Lead (E-commerce & Partnerships)
to support the next phase of growth for our e-commerce business. This role will focus on expanding revenue channels, building strategic partnerships, and supporting market growth initiatives across online platforms and new distribution opportunities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the founder to identify and execute growth opportunities, strengthen commercial partnerships, and support the company’s expansion into new markets and customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow revenue across existing and new e-commerce platforms
- Support expansion into new markets and regions, including evaluating platform and partner opportunities
- Build and manage strategic partnerships, including distributors, platform partners, and service providers
- Explore new revenue channels, such as B2B, bulk orders, private label, or wholesale opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support growth and expansion decisions
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support go-to-market initiatives
- Support commercial negotiations and onboarding of partners where applicable
- Track performance metrics and provide regular updates on growth initiatives to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, growth, or commercial roles - Experience working with e-commerce platforms or digital marketplaces is an advantage
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate growth opportunities
- Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in global e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Shopify, OpenAI Merchant a plus
- Experience with AEO and SEO a plus
