Business Development Intern - [FMCG - Toys, Kids & Babies] (Fall 2026)

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:

• Assist Key Account Managers (KAMs) to support campaigns, brand activations and strategic initiatives that will drive growth in the Toys, Kids and Babies category.  


• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities within the category


• Analyze sales and campaign performance, prepare reports, presentations & insights


• Coordinate with internal teams to roll out campaigns and initiatives  


• Support day-to-day communications with external stakeholders; assisting them in their needs and maintaining a positive relationship  


• Learn firsthand how global and local brands operate in the ecommerce space

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline


• Keen and fast learner with a genuine curiosity about e-commerce and about the Toys, Kids and Babies industry.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders


• Strong analytical and comfortable working with data, Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous


• Detail-oriented, collaborative and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


• Creative thinker with a willingness to contribute ideas


• Relevant experience in e-commerce is a plus


• Knowledge of local industries will be a plus
