About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in B2B sales within the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry. As a BD Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong relationships with clients in the F&B sector, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential B2B clients in the F&B industry, targeting key decision-makers and stakeholders such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, and food service providers.

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities within the F&B sector.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing leads and opportunities effectively to maximize sales potential.

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and customized proposals that align with the unique requirements of F&B clients.

  • Present and demonstrate product/service offerings specifically tailored to the needs of F&B businesses, highlighting their benefits and addressing industry-specific pain points.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with F&B clients, aiming for favourable outcomes while maintaining profitable margins.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience and successful implementation of solutions in the F&B industry.

  • Regularly monitor and report on sales activities, performance, and market insights within the F&B sector to sales management.

  • Foster and nurture long-term relationships with F&B clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to maximize client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Stay updated on F&B industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within the F&B industry, demonstrating success in selling to restaurants, cafes, hotels, or food service providers.

  • Strong understanding of the F&B industry, including its unique challenges, trends, and customer preferences.

  • 3+ years in F&B sales industry, experience in POS system is preferable.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value of products/services to F&B clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth in the F&B sector.
