Description
FCAsia is expanding its footprint in Singapore and international markets. We are looking for a confident, independent, and strategic Business Development Executive who can build new partnerships with supermarkets, retail stores, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and other F&B establishments — locally and overseas.
Business Development & Partner Acquisition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across:
Supermarkets & grocery chains
Bakeries, cafés, and restaurants (HORECA)
Retail stores & specialty food outlets
Wholesalers, distributors, and bulk buyers
Conduct outreach independently — including calls, emails, walk-ins, and face-to-face meetings.
Confidently present and introduce FCAsia’s product lines (e.g., coconut oil, specialty food products).
Negotiate pricing, terms, and partnership agreements.
Identify and develop opportunities in overseas markets, including research, outreach, and relationship building.
Account Management & Relationship Building
Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, both locally and abroad.
Ensure product understanding, order consistency, and overall partner satisfaction.
Regularly visit partner locations to review stock movement, product performance, and sales potential.
Sales Strategy & Market Insights
Conduct market research to identify trends, new segments, and competitor activities, including overseas markets.
Work with management to refine sales strategies, recommend new product opportunities, and support international expansion.
Provide feedback from the field to guide business decisions and product positioning.
Sales Support & Coordination
Maintain accurate records of outreach pipelines, client interactions, negotiations, and deals closed.
Use Excel for tracking leads, reporting sales progress, and preparing proposals.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment for partners.
General Responsibilities
Represent the company professionally at meetings and partner visits, locally and internationally.
Take ownership of the entire BD cycle — from lead generation to closing deals.
Handle ad hoc tasks that support the company’s commercial growth and market expansion.
Job Requirements
3-5 years BD/sales experience in F&B, FMCG, or HoReCa distribution is a plus — strong initiative and personality matter more.
Strong interest in sales, F&B, or food distribution, with a desire to grow into international markets.
Confident in cold-calling, messaging, and meeting clients independently, locally and abroad.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Organised, IT-savvy, and capable of managing pipelines and reporting (Excel knowledge required).
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for partner visits (local & international).
Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
