Job Summary  

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to support our team in MBFC, Singapore. Key Responsibilities  

  •  Lead detailed business analysis to understand, define, and document requirements for complex customer journeys and digital capabilities across investment and advisory products (e.g., Funds, Bonds, FX, Structured Products, Equities, Digital Assets, Portfolio Management, Rebalancing, Risk).
    • Facilitate workshops and engage with various stakeholders, including product managers, business users, legal, compliance, and technology teams, to elicit, analyse, and validate business requirements.
    • Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows, ensuring clarity and completeness for engineering squads.
    • Drive the agile delivery lifecycle, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous alignment between business objectives andtechnical implementation.
    • Analyse and document current state processes and target state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization and digital transformation.
    • Oversee and actively participate in system integration analysis, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across various platforms and applications.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and best practices in wealth management technology and digital capabilities.
    • Support quality assurance activities, including reviewing test plans andcases, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure deliveredsolutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned business domains, providing guidance and clarification to engineering teams throughout the development cycle.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, tools, and methodologies within the Wealth Management Technology department.


Requirement

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst at a senior level or equivalent, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a strong focus on wealth management or investment products.
    • Deep understanding of business domains related to investment products (e.g., Funds, Bonds, FX, Structured Products, Equities, Digital Assets) or advisory domains (e.g., Portfolio Management, Construction, Rebalancing, Risk).
    • Project management experience
    • Demonstrable experience in the agile delivery of complex customer journeys and digital products from conceptualization to launch.
    • Solid experience in analyzing and documenting requirements for system integrations and complex IT landscapes.
    • Proficiency in various business analysis techniques and tools, including process mapping, data modelling, use case development, user story writing, and requirements management.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working closely with engineering squads and product managers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    •       A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Important Skills

Digital banking / wealth platform exposure
API & microservices fluency (functional‑to‑technical bridge)
Integration experience (Bloomberg, external providers, FIX, settlement)
Structured products or capital markets platform familiarity
Strong understanding of regulatory & risk system interactions
Comfort with enterprise release governance
Ability to operate as a BA‑SME with delivery ownership
