Job Role Summary
Effective management of all commercial and marketing aspects of the assigned brand portfolio.
Area of Responsibility
Develop annual business plans for the assigned brands and seek alignment with Brand Owners and internally.
Co-develop all sales strategies and marketing activities with Brand Owners to achieve the monthly sales targets and brand targets.
Work closely with the Sales Team to develop 12-month trade activities calendar (by channel, by key customers) and ensure proper and timely execution in the outlets.
Plan, organize and implement brand campaigns, consumer and trade promotions.
Establish merchandising guidelines to ensure impactful in-store visibility. Guide Sales Team on securing effective points of engagement/space buy in-store that will drive purchase.
Develop POSM/marketing collaterals to support new launches, promotions, activations. Brief and work with external agencies to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Perform post-evaluation of the planned activities and provide insights and learnings for future activities.
Manage P&L and develop value chain of new products, new pricing, new channels, new customers etc to ensure healthy profit margin.
Manage A&P budget to ensure spend is optimized to drive returns as well as to ensure spend is within budget on a monthly basis.
Lead and manage both external and internal business reviews independently.
Identify, evaluate and develop plans to capitalize on new distribution and product opportunities.
Prepare and analyze sales reports to monitor sales performance and identify gaps and opportunities to grow the business.
Responsible for monthly sales forecasting and inventory purchase to ensure healthy stocks level while minimizing holding of near expiry stocks.
Responsible for the operational aspects of the assigned brands.
Monitor competitors’ activities and current market trends.
Manage and negotiate with both external and internal stakeholders to drive continuous growth for the brands.
Education and Experience
Degree in Business, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years’ experience for Brand Manager and 5 years’ experience for Assistant Brand Manager.
Experience in working in a distributor company is a plus.

Strong sense of business ownership and a capacity to take initiatives
Effective communicator with good analytical skills
Competent in Microsoft applications
