Description

We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Brand & Communications Lead to help drive brand growth, positioning, and evolution across a portfolio of consumer brands within FMCG, retail, wellness, and lifestyle categories.

This role focuses on upstream marketing and long-term brand building — including brand positioning, consumer understanding, communication strategy, portfolio development, and concept evolution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Support the development and evolution of long-term brand positioning, architecture, and strategic growth direction across the portfolio

  • Help define and ensure alignment of visual identity, brand narratives, messaging tones, and communication materials across product categories, channels, and touchpoints

  • Support a stronger consumer-centric approach across branding, innovation, communications, and business decision-making

 Marketing Communications & Consumer Engagement

  • Develop and coordinate marketing initiatives to improve brand awareness, product visibility and consumer engagement 

  • Support the planning and direction of campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives with clear communication objectives and measurable outcomes

  • Work with internal and external creative partners on content development, campaigns and POSM materials 

  • Identify opportunities for meaningful consumer engagement through content, partnerships, activations, public relations, and influencer collaborations where relevant

Portfolio Development & Innovation

  • Identify whitespace opportunities and future growth areas within the portfolio

  • Support portfolio growth, innovation, and category expansion initiatives through consumer and market-driven insights

  • Contribute to product storytelling, launch positioning, and communication development for new products and evolving categories

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Commercial, Trade Marketing, Sales, Operations, and external partners to align brand strategy with commercial execution

  • Support stronger marketing frameworks and collaborative ways of working across the organization

  • Act as a strategic bridge between brand direction, consumer understanding, and business priorities


What We’re Looking For:

  • We are looking for a marketer who combines strong brand fundamentals with strategic curiosity and consumer-centric thinking.

  • Comfortable working on brands evolving beyond their original categories

  • Good understanding of brand-building dynamics

  • Experience in brand stretch, repositioning, consumer transitions, and portfolio evolution

  • Strong understanding of FMCG brand management, ideally within food & beverage, wellness, lifestyle, or retail categories

  • Able to balance strategic thinking with practical execution and commercial realities

  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating within evolving business environments

  • Familiarity with digital marketing & social media platforms

  • 5 years of experience in FMCG marketing, brand management, or strategic communications

  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
