Description
Job Purpose
Drive customer usage and engagement for DBS Cards and PayLah! through strategic partnerships, compelling propositions, and seamless customer journeys. This role also leads and develops a team to originate, execute, and scale partnerships across key merchant ecosystems, positioning DBS as the preferred payment method.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Strategy & Business Development
- Identify, originate, and secure strategic partnerships across priority merchant categories to drive payments usage and billings growth
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned to business priorities
- Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and scaling
- Develop differentiated value propositions grounded in customer insights and commercial impact
- Usage Growth & Campaign Management
- Design and execute integrated campaigns to drive Cards and PayLah! usage, spend, and engagement
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Rewards, and Digital teams on go-to-market execution
- Drive adoption, category penetration, and incremental spend via targeted partnerships
- Customer Journey & Proposition Development
- Define and enhance end-to-end customer journeys to deliver seamless, intuitive experiences
- Translate customer insights and behavioural trends into actionable strategies
- Performance Management & Analytics
- Own and track KPIs including billings, usage uplift, campaign ROI, and partner performance
- Lead business case modelling, forecasting, and post-implementation reviews
- Drive a data-led culture within the team to optimise outcomes
- Stakeholder Management
- Partner cross-functionally across Product, Analytics, Marketing, Merchant, and Digital teams
- Build strong external relationships with stakeholders at partner organisations
- Influence alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of partnership/campaign managers
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and drive accountability against business targets
- Provide guidance on deal structuring, campaign strategy, and execution excellence
- Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and results-driven team culture
- Mentor team members to build pipeline strength and leadership bench
Key Accountabilities / KPIs
- Growth in Cards & PayLah! billings, active usage, and engagement
- Successful onboarding and scaling of strategic partnerships
- Campaign effectiveness (ROI, conversion, acquisition, retention)
- Strength and health of partnership pipeline
- Team performance, engagement, and capability development
- Delivery of seamless customer journeys and partner integrations
Experience & Requirements
Core Experience
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or payments/cards
- Experience in consumer payments, digital wallets, or merchant ecosystems preferred
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership / people management
- Strong track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline

- Familiarity with cards products, merchant economics, and digital channels
