THE ROLE: Assistant Manager, Marketing Communications
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 360 integrated marketing and communication plans for assigned portfolios/disciplines, encompassing online and offline advertising, PR_, events, and branding aimed at generating leads and meeting
enrolment targets.
Execute and optimise marketing and communication plans, working closely with internal stakeholders (team members, sales team) and external agencies on deliverables.
Contribute to Kaplan's brand building efforts through effective content marketing.
Work in tandem with Sales teams and broader management team to position Kaplan in the market as the
preferred PEI for assigned university portfolios and disciplines.
Brand guardian that oversees the accurate and consistent application of the brand (in all forms) across all marketing and communication channels which includes the need for copy vetting, editing and writing.
Review and apply established Kaplan copy conventions and align copy tonality across all marketing and communication activities for Kaplan Singapore to ensure consistency.
Review and ensure compliance of marketing and communication materials with CPE regulatory guidelines, or any other guidelines necessary. This includes adherence to the principles of:
Truthful representation
Substantiation
Fair competition
Observance of social values
Integrity and responsibility
Lead the implementation of holistic marketing initiatives on social media platforms, digital marketing, develop corporate materials to increase customer awareness and engagement
Review, track and evaluate effectiveness of each campaign to ensure high yield, the right media mix and to gain
consumer insights for CRM and/or re-marketing.
Identify new avenues through co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners for lead generation and to expand brand exposure.
Monitor competitive marketing trends to enable development and implementation of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for respective programmes and products.
Manage A and P budget and ensure usage of the budget yield the highest ROI.
Manage agencies to ensure quality, timely and cost effective delivery.
Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
At least 5 years' experience in integrated marketing
Online marketing experience
B2B and B2C marketing experience
Creative and good with copy
Ability to work across multiple teams and support various business
Ability to develop and execute marketing strategy
Stakeholder management (managing senior-level stakeholders)
Highly motivated, resourceful and results-oriented team player with strong commercial acumen
Facebook Ads Manager
Desirable
Experience in working within a matrix reporting structure
Experience in working across geographies
Experience in a fast-paced, working environment
Familiarity with marketing trends and technological developments
Google Analytics and Ads
Salesforce
Other Information
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
Work Arrangements: Hybrid (Blend of in-office and remote work)
