Role Overview
We are seeking a sophisticated and proactive Applications Manager/ Senior Manager to oversee the seamless operation of our regional/global digital ecosystem. You will lead the team responsible for maintaining our boutique POS systems, E-commerce platforms, CRM, and ERP solutions; and from time-to-time oversee ongoing projects and new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
System Stewardship: Lead the end-to-end support for mission-critical applications including ERP, POS etc.
Incident Management: Act as the final escalation point for technical outages, ensuring rapid resolution with minimal disruption to boutique operations and VIP client journeys.
Vendor Orchestration: Manage relationships with third-party software providers, ensuring SLAs are met and service quality aligns with our brand standards.
Team Leadership: Mentor a team of support specialists and project members, fostering a culture of excellence, empathy, and technical curiosity.
Continuous Improvement: Identify trends in support tickets to advocate for long-term system enhancements and "bug-free" seasonal launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Retail Operations and Marketing teams to ensure digital tools empower our Sales Associates rather than hinder them.
Candidate Profile
Experience: More than 8 years of experience in Applications Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
*Experience in Luxury/ Retail or Hospitality sectors will be a big advantage.Technical Fluency: Understanding of retail architecture (Omnichannel, Inventory Management, Payment Gateways).
The "Luxury" Mindset: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate "tech-speak" into clear, calm updates for stakeholders.
Problem Solver: A "firefighter" who also knows how to build fire-proof systems. You prioritize stability and data integrity above all.
